Lori, TEDA Governmental Awareness Officer, reported recently that HB 3880 passed both the House and the Senate. While this is true, once the bill passed the Senate, the House pulled it in for conference as they did not like some of the changes made by the Senate Committee. The Senate chose not to conference on the bill. As a result of this HB 3880 Adjourned Sine Die – or did not get out of committee prior to the end of the 87th legislative session. Texas Legislature Online had it going to the Governor at one point, but, again, this did not happen. Someone up there hit the wrong button.
